The game board has three types “births” – janma (cell 1), manushya janma (cell 43) and prithvi (cell 51). Prithvi is also a “birth” of sorts as it lands the player back into the realm of a magnificently magical creation. But “death” is conspicuous by it’s absence. I am reminded of a beautiful quote I read by Hafsa Shah. I think it sums up and explains the absence as beautifully as the game board does –

“That moment when this heart.. stops.. almost as if it never existed. When every breath.. slows down.. almost as if you never needed a single breathe of air.. When time stops.. almost as if every second never mattered. In that moment… I’m infinite. In that moment… I am immortal. In that moment… I am finally alive.”
