Responsibility – The Adult

The player, here a home-builder, is now mature enough to “become one” with an unknown other. In this stage she experiments with “balance”.  This is the level of the “mahaloka”, the loka of thoughtlessness.  I, personally, interpret this level as a level where you follow your heart.

The player, here, tries to rectify past mistakes. “Sudharma” (one’s own dharma) accelerates her forward, while “adharma” (actions inspired by “material / physical attachments”) pulls her to the lowermost level.  Thus, forcing her to re-evaluate, re-learn and re-initiate her journey from “moha”.  This is the level where the player must put good habits into practice (“uttam gati”), have faith in nature spirits (“yakshaloka”) and indulge in the essence of taste, smell and pure sound.

Does your personal experience resonate with the different cells of this stage?  Please share your thoughts and please comment.

This is the stage of the 4th chakra (anāhata) which resides in the heart and the colour is green. The dominant sensory experience is tactile / touch. The sleeping posture associated with this stage is the “log” (sleeping on the left side) for 5 to 6 hours nightly. Tāntric texts suggest that mastering this chakra gives the yogin the power to become invisible, unnoticeable and levitate or travel at will. She is able to see objects of both the visible and the invisible universes and gains mastery over time.
